Members flanging_fred
I liked the idea but found it irritating that a good setting for the wah didn't work well for the volume and vice versa. Solid build, good size, an interesting synthy/filtery type wah. I really tried to like mine but in the end sold it on.
Members homestar_kevin
love em. So fun and small. Weird switches, but if you get a good one. Take it. I miss mine
Members tylerdubb2
WAAANT. I've owned my fair share of wahs and people say this one is unique.
Members Urinate Forever
It's unique in the fact that it sounds more like a envelope filter than a wah.
Members NITEFLY182
The way those worked was really interesting compared to any other wah. I liked the sound of the one I had quite a bit but Im really not much of a wah guy.
Members Urinate Forever
Yeah you're more of a "WAH WAH WAH" :crying: type of guy.

Members TomCTC
Love mine, really wide sweep that doesn't lend itself to sounding traditional. Won't be going anywhere for a long while.
Members Crxsh
It's one of 3 wah pedals I've ever liked. More of a filter sound though, like somebody else mentioned. I don't use it all the time, but it's cheap enough to let sit for when I do get the itch.

Members houseofglass21
The FX17 is like a cheap version of the Chicago Iron Parachute Wah. It gets an insanely huge sweep if you tweak the trimpots right. I didn't like the heel switch very much though. Not because it was in the heel, but rather it was either too hard or too easy to activate. I had to remove the piece of rubber that turns the switch on and put a bit of duct tape there. Members Frankenstrat86
just got mine yesterday and although I knew about the trim pots I didn't realize one adjusted the min/maximum sweep of the volume function, which is what I'm using mine for. must experiment

Members Frankenstrat86
so spending a good chunk of the day playing and A/Bing with and without the fx-17 and playing with the trim pot I'm thinking this isn't the pedal for me. I may just have to suck it up and just get a regular sized volume pedal. the mission engineering one is looking promising. namely the vm-
Members Cliff Fiscal
ended up getting one, even after reading that it's a tone sucker. Should be here today or tomorrow.
