I'm curious why a guy with a username of megaboogie has only posted 1,158 times since March of 2001???sorry..just kidding.. Since I own 3 Mesa Boogie amps I can't imagine wanting a pedal to try to make my amps sound like a Mesa Boogie but that having been said - I love their amps and I'm a known gear slut so I'll probably buy a couple of them just because.. Members notjonahbutnoah
+1 on all this "I expected more switches" talk. Their amps always have a bunch of options etc. The V Twin was a monster, and sounds really good. I'll stick with my Elements and Talons.

After all, until we hear them, we have no idea whether they sound meh, or marvelous.
Members Player99
Years ago I paid full pop for a Mesa V Twin, and when they first came out, they had a huge pause between switching, and a volume drop. I have never forgiven them for selling me a big chrome boat anchor. Count me out.
Members King Rat
The TS sounded super nice for that kind of job... The rest didn't really wow me.

Members theroan
I actually thought the Grid Slammer sounded pretty good. It's the high gain one that I found to be more disappointing. Though the tone knob was maxed in the vid I watched.

Alot of folks just left and never came back And taking a break for years from this forum just speaks to your higher intelligence level than those of us who haven't. Rock on brother!
