Members spoonie g
the deville too; more bass. I just find myself liking it more than the "classic" black face amps for clean sounds.

Members the Dodo
I hated mine because it turned pedal dirt muddy and it stole presence. Cleans have been great and the Reverb was solid.
Members Pewtershmit
Ooh you gotta fix that, it's not cool to like those on hcfx.
Members spoonie g
is it based off the bassman platform?
Members Aristotle
please...these modern fender amps are all over the forum. Not many go vintage Fender around here because everyone's always trying to get something for nothing.
Members Danhedonia
I have a HR DeVille 410 that's apparently terminally uncool, only it has great clean tones. Not good - great.
Members Temple of Light
Mod it with EL84's you'll like it even better...
Members GREC
I like them too. Never owned one but rented a few tru the years (vintage amp problems ) Ran them thru my 4X12 & was plenty loud & punchy. Didn't like the gain that much -though maybe it's the stock tubes(?) Members Psyre
I really dug my old HRD, I also use to practice with the limited edition tweed HRD (not blues) and I liked that more than my blac tolex. I think it was the speakers (greenbacks in the tweed irrc). Great amps, and can be had very cheap, but overall didn't need it after I got my '68 bassman. Members Ben Co.
Because it sounds great and is an excellent pedal platform, as others have said. Still have mine as backup! You want to take it to another level, swap out the existing speaker for a Celestion Classic Lead 80. IMO, the perfect pairing for that amp.
