Members Fender&EHX4ever
Damn this thread. I'm sitting here eating an awful BOCA veggie burger for lunch. I'm quite sure there are lots of Florida delicacies I havent tried yet, but my favorite is probably the recipe for Gulf Coast Mullet Dip. Stop in at Homosassa at The Freezer and do yourself a big favor... order a pitcher of beer, some mullet dip, and a pound of steamed spicy shrimp. ( i love the prescription drugs in this pic )

Members Parah Salin
I think carne asada fries and California burritos originated from San Diego. There are also lobster tacos that I don't see at any places in the East Coast.

Members Blakemore Effects
Well, where I grew up in central Illinois is where the horseshoe sandwich was invented. Basically it's fries, and bread, with some sort of meat (typically a hamburger patty or turkey or something), smothered in queso. This is by far my favorite thing from Nashville though:

I'd never heard of a horseshoe until I settled in the Springfield area.
