Me...

Adam, Loved everything about this. HUGE sound, excellent recording! Very fluid and tasty playing. Great job!

PhilBelanger...

Phil, I really like your tone on this... the sustain is sweet and stinging. You've got a lot of cool ideas here... I especially like the "middle-eastern" bit near the end! :D

Syrnett...

Erik, Cool fluid tone... I like that clear but sustainy sound. Very melodic! Nice job!

Bob Savage and video

Bob, very "Bob Savage"-ish. :D That's lots of great riffing, wild whammy barring, and in this case plenty of wah, wah wah. I liked it! The video doesn't work well on my old home system... oh well. I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD! :D

leadfootdriver

Mick, your style sounds great with this backing. Speed shred. Great sounding and souper hot playing. My favorite clip of yours. :D

It's kind of sloppy.... I'd like to do better but it would take a while.... I was influenced by Frank Zappa's Inca Roads solo.

jazzbo, This take is very cool! I don't think I've heard one of your takes before... but great job on this one! :D

Having probs getting online with my computer, so I'm at the girlfriends right now listening. Dialup... :(

RVS: Again, cool track. I like the rotory(?) effect on the accompanyment. Cool in the pocket groovin, with splashes of flash.

Phil B: Cool sustaining tone, and scale exploration.

Syrnett: Nice tranquil improv.

Bubba: Nice playing. You put thought into this one. Seemed to fit you well.

Myron: Super tasty mang! Nice!

Whackmaster63, This track brought out a lot of great playing... and your take was right up there with the coolest. Great tone and use of vibrato. :D

Hey fellas: My mp3 converter makes my mixes sound like ass. You can hear a big differance comparing my mix to others. Does the sound card affect the conversion? What bit rate, and sample freq do you guys convert at?

My computer is a piece, but it's easier to just sit on the couch, and do little ditties like this while surfing, and noodling on the guitar.

I wish I had a big desk, or another computer. Then I would hook it up to my multi track recorders, so I wouldn't have to use CD-R's to transfer everything.

That's the trouble with posting a first take.

I certainly enjoyed yours, the Uber sure does not sound like a Uber. THe playing was flawless as usual.

No bro! When I say "experimental" I mean that you are FAR from safe playing, you reach out and stretch a lot, I love that! :)

Thanks for the nice words, I swear that this is how my Uber sounds! :D Be well!

:) I was hoping you would see it like that,I'm in one of those "episode" where I try to break into something different, experimenting with sweeps and arpeggios.

That was cool..I agree with jazzbo, some of the minor stuff was unexpected, it gave the whole track a very different vibe!
