Members tlbonehead
I've always wondered why people need to ask these questions. Do they not know of many songs,do they have no idea what people like,or what?

Members shredhead666
Depends on the atmosphere/crowd. What would work in a coffee shop wouldn't work in a small dive bar. Tenacious D or Segovia?

Members tele_jas
Skynyrd!!!!!! It depends on the crowd.. I just started doing an all acoustic show and the songs that seem to go over at one club don't always go over at the other. The Eagles always seem to go over with older and college aged crowd, Same with the Beatles ("8 days a week" and "Get Back" and Stray Cats. Other songs that go over good are (don't laugh).... Bon Jovi tunes. His stuff goes back to the mid 80s and is still doing good today. He had a CD out last year called "This Left feels Right" and it had different arrangments of alot of the songs that "Made him" and people seem to eat that stuff up, and of course the original version of "Wanted Dead or Alive". Heres some other stuff that seems to work for me: * Johnny Cash * Keith Urban * Maroon 5 * John Mayer * More than Wrods (as mentioned earlier) * Throw some originals in there, people always like a good original * Brown Eyed Girl * Sex & Candy * Some Garth Brooks * I do hate to say it, but some people do like the Skynyrd as much as us musicians hate playing it! Thats a few I can think of right now. Good luck!
