Members newholland Posted November 21, 2008 Members Share Posted November 21, 2008 got my '78 LPC for $850.. in 1993.. so not such a great deal.. but compared to today's prices it is.. got a '76 SG for $350.. in 1991.. bought a laney aor in 1991 for $300.. loaded with telefunken tubes! bought my first 412 for $200.. it was a peavey straightfront loaded with t75's.. i sold it for $250 8 years later.. my mesa .50 cal i bought for $300.. i sold my laney for $250.. so $50.. kept it for 15 years, and sold the mesa for $450. i replaced it with a studio .22 i bought for $400... so i made money on that one..
