i'm selling one right now.

i'm not too crazy about marshall in general.

Comparing their reputation and legacy, i really don't thing their products live up at, now or ever.

they were relivent 30-40 years ago because you basicly only had a few options back then with that kind of power for guitar.

now-a-days i think even for what they do, there are far better options.

but thats just me.

I have to disagree. The JMP's/800's of the early 80's along with the jubilees and slash sigs are all awsome amps.

The JTM45 covers the lower gain side of things and is awsome as well and they all cut awsomely in a band mix.

I'm not crazy about their current stuff, but the older ones were solid.

i wouldn't really consider myself a big marshall fan-- but a 2204 is a pretty freakin great amplifier that i would not push outa bed if it farted.

i'd take a jtm or a plexi every single time over it-- but they're pretty ragingly good for rock music. the eq doesn't do much... but i like to consider it 'idiot proof'..
