These days they just need to do their job as unobtrusively as possible. If I didn't need to work, I wouldn't even own one, that's the honest truth. It's not anymore a hobby to me as my toaster oven anymore, I just want it to run in the background. Good point, and admittedly, I don't tinker like I used to, I just use my stuff. Like I said, I like Apple stuff, A LOT, and between having the cloud and not doing much heavy computing, I'd rather have an lightly-spec'd Air than my HP notebook right now, but one was much cheaper than the other Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bought an iPod to replace my old one with a cracked sceen, thinking I could just transfer the files somhow. Nope. I became a mac user through my job since april. I was a staunch windows/PC supporter before that. Now, there's no way I'm ever going back to PC's. there's just no way. My guess is Microshaft teams are out there creating some {censored} for Apple as much as Apple did to Win products. As far as quality ? I wouldn't say its better or worse. This was initially why I went apple. It was great: Firepod setup on OSX: 1. open box 2. plug in PSU to firepod 3. plug in firewire 400 cable to mac and firepod 4. turn it on. Done.
