I was gonna say the same thing. For those of you with crt monitors, espeically 2 crt monitors, the $300 upgrade you could make that would make your studio look twice as professional would be to buy one or two lcds. Cool pics though. I switched to LCD because of: - guitar pickup noise - More space on my desktop - No more CRT flickering The fact that it looks more professional should be the last thing on his mind. It's the other advantages of LCD that are worth the upgrade.

Different voices need different mics. I use a Rode NTK which works really well for my voice, yet a lot of people hate that mic. No other choice than to try em out.
