Members zosoKing5
I thought this would be a cool idea for a thread. To you, which guitar would be "the one"? the one that makes you and when your away from it. Im curious to see what you all would play, for, for example i see aenemated playing a big gretsch white falcon (ive never seen the guy lol), and rock lobster would play a hello kitty guitar as their number one guitar:p. for me, its oh how i want it.... Members catsandstrats
You would never see me play without an American Strat. I dont get too picky about years and such, but I think the best ones I have ever played were from 2003.

Members Doctor Morbius
My ultimate guitar is a Strat that meets the following specifications... 1) plays great2) sounds great3) looks nice (preferably in a vintage color) It doesn't matter if it's an MIM, MIA, Squier, MIJ, CIJ, or clone. That being said, I tend to gravitate toward MIMs for their bang for the buck value, them mod as necessary.
Members rock-lobster
firstly: hello kitty? also: i have 2 guitars that i consider to be my "holy grail" the first, which i own, is my deluxe players strat. the other, which i will own, is an SG classic. both fit the two very specific tonal niches i am after. Members CompleteGuitard
Its a tough call. I would kill for a wine red les paul standard. My studio is pretty close, but lacks the aesthetics that a standard has. But, me being a University student with more degrees and student fees ahead of me, I'm content with the studio. the studio I own was also a gift from my girlfriend last christmas (which makes it particularly special, especially because the serial number indicates that they were both born on the same day albeit different years). I would also really REALLy like a white falcon. I really like the one chris cheney (the living end) has I do know, however, that I will always come back to this. My very first good guitar, the one that has been with me through Europe, Asia, 9 years of abuse, high school, university, now a post graduate degree. It is the one that I will be buried with. So I guess the final answer is my trusty strat.

Members Schtang
The only guitar I need to finish off my collection is a Gibson 335 - so that is what I am after at the moment. It will be the final guitar to accompany my Gibson LP Std, Classic, Gem, Sg Std, Fender USA Strats and tele.
Members whitegreyblack
For many of us, it's less of "the one" than it is "the next one" For me, my next one I dream about is a good Explorer. I've always wanted to get all of the Gibson "futuristic" shapes - Moderne, Futura, Explorer, Vee, Corvus, Firebird, RD...
