I thought it was cool, but I really dig Westerberg. I also once went to a Tom Petty concert just so I could see the Replacements open up the show. As usual they were all switching instruments and as they were playing Hootenanny Tommy Stinson screamed out "You Mother{censored}ers are never going to see this {censored} again" And sadly enough he was right! I have seen the Westerberg several times since then but something really died that day. It was my first and last Replacements concert. Talk about Bittersweet... And based on the fact that he never reached stardom or made lots of money but still has some of the most rabid fans you'll ever meet, he's done exactly that.
