Good/Cheap 2x12 Cabinet?

Hey guys I'm trying to find a nice cheap 2x12 and can't really decide on what to get. Right now I'm looking at the Bugera 212V-BK 2x12 or the Jet City 2x12, anyone have any opinions on them?

I tried the Bugera 2x12 under my Marshall 100HDFX

and didn't like the sound of it.

It didn't replicate a Marshall cab at all for me

and somehow they just didn't pair up well.

The Jet City is the way to go for affordable, off the shelf 2x12. I would gladly put it up against any other 2x12 under $350. Of course, for only $369 you can get a WhiteBoxEng 2x12!

Great cabs! Hard to find. Even harder at a reasonable price. At $369, a fully customizable WhiteBox is the way to go.

Me and my bandmates made a 2x12 cab out of my old amp that blew up. It's got an Eminence Red Coat Wizard and Patriot Swamp Thang. I bought some Vox grill cloth so it would match all of my real Vox stuff. I only had to pay for the grill cloth.

As a big believer in using quality pickups and quality speakers, I would strongly suggest you just save up until you can afford a used Avatar.

 

Cabs and speakers are a VERY bad area to try to save money.

Where are you seeing that? All I see is the mention of 5/8" plywood front panel. I'm not saying it isn't, just that they don't say it is and I would think it would weigh more than 48 lbs. if it was MDF. Especially considering the GB is 62 lbs. I have a GB and it's a great cab, otherwise I'd give this one a shot - especially considering used GB's go for over $400.
