Members 67standard Posted February 23, 2012 Members Share Posted February 23, 2012 I love all three but my Black Beauty3 is my favourate.I've just fitted 2 burstbucker pro's to the G400 Custom ( havn't updated the pics yet)Updatedthe Explorer with a Tesla Plasma2 pup and a Maestro Vibrola (havn't updated that pic either)Updating the BB3 with Gibson 57 Classics and a 498t in the middle position They all have fantastic necks and smooth fretboards. I always wanted a natural Casino. This one is brand new (made in 2007) The cost of the guitar was $125 and the head was glued back on and the repair was just about as perfect a fix as could possibly be done. So, I got a very nice Chinese made Casino (with case) for low $$$. It sounds very nice and I play it (along with my other Epi's) quite a lot (every day). But my Epi SG, that started life as an Iommi Sig. You can see a touch of it over there in my avatar One bit I didn't touch was the back of the neck where the crappy sanding job actually gives a great, smooth feel. And unless I'm missing a seam it appears to a be a one-piece body. I have strong doubts as to how much that matters, but it's kinda cool just from a spec-whoring viewpoint. It's my favorite (I have an Epi American Special too) Epiphone b/c it friggin rocks. Dude, bad-ass! I didn't know Epi made any LP doublecuts. Solid Maple top, Gibson 57 Classics, Grover Locking Tuners, Split Coil Pickups, some kid of fancy capacitors (Mallorys?). The new ones IMHO are just subpar wood with cheesy hardware and finishes.
