Me on my porch in the early '80's with a bunch of oddballs:

Behind me, l-r: Fender 1960 Duo-Sonic, Vega archtop, Ric 430, no-name MIJ acoustic (my first guitar, which I still have), Sears POS I handpainted checkerboard and used as a wall decoration. Holding: early '70's Ovation Breadwinner. Don't worry, the orange dots were just stickers that came right off.

This is going out on a limb, but for some reason I get the feeling you could tell me a bunch of other modern surf-influenced bands. Just a guess.

 

 

Hmm, well, all I listen to is surf and spaghetti western, so yes. But most of them are more overtly surf than Mattson 2
