Members onelife
save up for the tele build - you'll be glad you did every time you play your les paul
Members poolshark
Eh, depends on the Les Paul. Most of the time, I greatly prefer the shape and construction of a Tele.

Members guitarcapo
I have a Les Paul Studio Lite I rarely play. My home built mahogany telecaster is my #1 guitar. It has Fralin Blues Special pickups BTW.
Members Morphious
Keep the Studio and build another Tele!

Members ChristianRock
Nah. Unless it's one of the Les Paul Studios that has a maple top. The all-mahogany ones don't sound that good to me.
Members Mav64
Well I wouldn't so I voted no...
Members Carbohydrates
It sure wouldn't replace a Les Paul.
Members Filter500
If the Tele has a Maple neck, I would. The bolt on maple neck with a Mahogany body is a winning combo for me.
Members RickBeall
They are quite different instruments. It would be like selling a banana to get an apple. Both are great, but you won't end up with a bananna.
Members slideroni
You can always buy another Studio. When you build a guitar, you get exactly what you want.

Both are great guitars but not played a whole lot. My home built tele gets played all the time. But it will have more competition with another tele and an esquire build underway
Members Bro Blue
I voted no, only because there is not a " hell no" option.
Members vintage clubber
keep the les paul and buy the tele parts as you can...
Members Elessar [Sly]
Keep the Les Paul (Y).
Members billybilly
I would but its your call. I'd buy a 25" conversion neck too (musikraft and usacg do them) with an arm and tummy cut to boot.
Members bluesnapper
This is the Les Paul in question... it looks pretty, and sounds excellent, but I don't really play it so often. It is my only humbucker guitar though...
Members Burgess
No. Les Paul and Tele compliment each other beautifully.
Members Filter500
Nice looking guitar. So why don't you play it much? Not comfortable?
