Especially the early 90s. FLA's "Tactical Neural Implant" was a mind-blowing digital phenom ( the 'digital' medium was still new and unobtainable by the layman for the most part at that time)...and, although I didn't care for 'Millenium", it was pretty heavy. I would definitely consider Rhys 'programming' skills as a 'keyboardist"
Members Funkee1
Your poll ingnores the talents of: Steve Porcaro David Paich Greg Phillinganes Howard Jones Thomas Dolby Jane Child Teddy Riley Herbie Hancock Chick Corea T- Lavitz Geoff Downes Jan Hammer and many many others.......... IMHO most of the guys in the poll don't even make the radar!

Edit: Hey AoB I think you should change the thread title since noone bothers to read the poll question.

You could try to read the question above the poll. BTW AoB this thread made me want to listen to my old Faith no More records. Forget the guys name and I have no idea if he's good but they sure used the keyboard in an effective way. Edit: Mike Bordin.

Members 82Daion
Wakeman and Emerson are both rock keyboardists; so I'd say that they count. Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, while not in the rock category, really are better than most/all on that list. George Duke with Zappa is great, too.
