Members Billy-B
Fender Japan for me. I love every Fender MIJ bass I've got or have had (with the exception of the P-Bass Lyte--no tone). Billy-B
Members justinbass
I'd go back in time and have early 80s Ibanez Japan make me one. It would just be a black/cream, passive musician, with chrome hardware. And it would roar.
Members Onkel Bob
I wouldn't know exactly what to get but I'm very happy with my Ric. Maybe I'd have them try to copy Scott's '68 as well just to see what makes it so special.

Members jonathan_matos5
id want to be famous first so my sig bass would be just another way of selling out. it would be both ugly and unoriginal and people would buy it just because my name is on it. Moderators isaac42 Posted April 7, 2007 Moderators Share Posted April 7, 2007 Although I've had a falling out of sorts with Rickenbacker, I'd still like to have a custom Ric 5 string to my specs. Really? What's the nature of the falling out? As to the original question, I suppose it would have to be Rickenbacker, since that's pretty much all I play. Members liko
I'm torn between Fender and Yamaha. My MIM Jazz plays well and I've done a lot to it to make it mine, but my Yammies are just so good to me, and I really don't think you'll find a better bass for the money. I just haven't done much to either of mine that would make them sig-worthy.
