Members DaveAronow
The only one I have in photobucket right now. I own more, but this is my main gigging/recording bass anyway. 198X? Japaneese Fender P-bass, very heavily modded. EMG active pups. Pot, jack, upgrades Badass2 bridge Handshaped and Tru-oil finished high gloss Warmoth replacement neck Hipshot Drop D Tuner( could have SWORN it was a hipshot, I bought the tuner 20 some years ago, but after pulling this bass back out after years of storage, I find the D-tuner says schaller, when I thought it was a hipshot.. Were they teamed up with hipshot in the 80s-90s, or did I indeed buy a Schaller instead of a hipshot? Anyway, The moving part, lever and the metal it butted up against kept wearing out, and wearing down and causing tuning issues so the lever has been replaced with a hand machined steel copy, and the plate it rubs into has also been replaced with steel. No wear any more. Hand crafted wood and fiberglass picguard hand covered by Genyoowine Holstein bovine Toupe' fabric Decal Replacements And 20+ years of hand induced live use mojo and authentic relicing applied. This bass has performed in a hundred or so U.S. cities and maybe in front of a half a millon people in its life. This bass will always be under some form of construction or other. It runs from me and hides every time it sees me coming because it KNOWS there is going to be trouble. It may not be anything special to anyone else, but it sure is to me. I'm sorry that this is OT but, if you can afford a couple of Basses then you should be able to afford a new pair of socks as well.
