Tone 1: Michael Manring and his Zon Sonus, nice fretless mwha, and Tone 2: I don't remember the bassists name, but he is killing it on his Wishbass: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_u35sHICjE Which tone should i go with? Does he use an octivizer downward, or does he have that sixer strung deep?He's using a bunch of effects. There's a ton of compression all the way through. And plenty of chorusing in the verses. In the chorus of the song (starts around 1:14) he kicks in a synth-type effect: an octave down plus some square wave with a filter sweep on top. I'd guess he's using an EH Bass Micro-Synth pedal; I have one at home and you can definitely cop that tone with the EH pedal. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
