Members gardo
A couple years ago I put together this partscaster. It was nice but not quite there. I’ve since added a black sparkle pickgaurd and now a pair of GFS Alnico FatBody pickups with oversized pole pieces. I love them ,it’s like a telecaster on steroids. It gets chimey in the middle position with a solid state amp, which I like and fatter on the bridge. The neck is more Strat like and articulate. Members Ancient Mariner
I've been wondering about putting a set of those in a Strat - have a MIJ body & neck that I got from Lubes/Ben in a trade abut 15 years ago, and still haven't done anything with. They are loud and fatter . I like them but also glad to have a more traditional sounding Tele
