Hey all.... I think the title says it all. For the longest time, there just wasn't anything out there I wanted, or needed, to fill that GAS hole in my soul.  That changed last week. ALL of the stuff you see is from ONE bloody stupid week of weakness. I am so blessed to have a wife who understands, allows me to spend my tip money from work as I please, and has an input in my purchases. I need help......

Ok., first off is a 2007 or so Gretsch G2616. Has had an obvious refinish, which my wife found cool, and plays quite wonderfully.

An '87 Casio MG510. Yes, it's a Casio, and yes, that actually means it's an Ibanez with Casio/Roland electronics. Whenever you see these for sale, somethjing is wroong with it. The caps are notorious for drying out, bad circuits, etc etc. This one is perfect in every way possible. it plays as well as any Ibanez, just as nice as my RSRG440 from 86 with the same pickups and the like. The MIDI functions work perfectly, with  damn near zero glitching, and even the built in tuner works as it should. AND it was..... cheap. How cheap? 120 USD cheap!!

Next is an Ibanez ARC500. Consider it a baby Artist. REALLY nice playing guitar that feels more hollow-like then the solid body it is. Super 58 pickups, and oh, what's this? A Roland GK3A... why would that be there?

Those were followed closely by a 2007? or so BC RICH Mockingbird One. Yeah, a budget like to replace the garbage Bronze line, but damn, it plays and sounds wonderful!

And harkening back to my bass playing days, found this on CL. A 1973-75 Lincoln P Bass. I don't play bass much, but when I got it, I sat there for 2 hours playing, giggling like an idiot as I did so. AND it was 50 bucks with a hard case! And yes, it's a tele pickup in there from the factory.

A weakness of mine is the Ibanez EX series. LOVE the maple body and flame maple neck. Plays extremely well, and was only 60 bucks. How could I say no?

And near finally.....

A 1973 Ibanez made El Degas ES345 copy! The Maxon neck pickup was DOA on arrival, the "Varitone" switch actually changes the cap values pre tone controls, and it has a little issue with the neck block that will be addressed soon. Plays nice and sounds unique.

And now, why did that Ibanez have a GK3A pickup? Why to use the NEW Roland GR55 guitar synth of course!!
