Members Voltan
i would replate... but im a chemistry head and have plated shift before...probably still have the chemicals in the lab... i mean shed... diff peeps sweat is diff in ph values... some have what brass and horn players called “acid hand”... the electrolytic process of really acidic sweat on a bi-metallic metal plate for periods of time wrecks the plating... the easiset thing to do is leave them alone... what is it hurting? or just take off the covers? probably a bit of a plus, too... replace covers or replace pickups... last resort, ditch the guitar and buy a new one... not necessarily in that particular order, but then im looking at guitars again, so....
