New guitar got here today. Love it. Checked it out thoroughly - NO SETUP NEEDED! This is a first for me in my life! After checkup put a fancy pickguard on it kind of like Taylor except tortoise shell design. Pictures are of guitar before pickguard. I do have to get used to playing a ukelele, though. LOL I like it but the smallest git I've ever played is 000 or grand concert classical which is still larger than this. The neck has a slight v-shape which I don't even notice when I play it. Very well made guitar though. I was surprised because Tanglewood gets a lot of hype about how good they are. I won't compare them to Martins or Taylors or Yamaha or anyone else. Any comparison from one brand to another is just apples to oranges. If they built the git right, they built it right. Then wood quality takes over. So you can have good and bad Martins or Taylors or whatever. I had a 1965 D28 that had brazilian rosewood back and sides and it was horrible! The Tanglewood hype seems to be right on although I don't believe better than Martin or Taylor or whatever. It's just well made, nice action, sweet well balanced sound that doesn't sound tinny at all in the high end but still has some bass allthough it ain't a dread, after all. Now lets see if we can get these pictures in here....
