Members Anderton Posted April 8, 2016 Members Posted April 8, 2016 So, Beike . . . Tell us relative newcomers a little about yourself. You posted a big NAMM preview, and now this. Some of the pictures look like they came from press releases or company literature, others look like photos from the show floor, and then there were those pictures of the show being set up. And you said you didn't think you'd attend. What brings you here with all this cool info? Or if you're shy, maybe Craig will fill us in. Bieke is an extra-terrestrial. Like many Alpha Centaurians at the University of Glix who specialize in the study of extremely primitive societies, he came here on a class project to finish his term paper ("The Earth's Slowest Internet Sites: Dysfunctional Terran Communications"). He's a very charming fellow, and despite his occasional lack of patience with humanity's overall stupidity, he actually likes earth quite a bit because there are no cats on Alpha Centauri. What fascinates him the most about cats is how, through their superior intellect, they've enslaved humans - causing them to go out and buy food for them, provide nice places to sleep, other cats to play with, and so on. He says if humans ever looked at their security camera footage to see what cats do when the humans aren't around, they'd be shocked. He won't mind my saying this because he has inserted some special characters in this post that will cause you to forget what it said 78 seconds after reading it. He says he got that idea from watching "Men in Black," which he insists is a documentary.
