Members poppytater
An attractive, well made guitar that should give a lifetime of use. It don't sound good.
Members DeepEnd
Sorry you're disappointed. I've never owned a Fender acoustic but I thought about it some years ago. What"don't sound good" about it? Dull? No sustain? Tinny? Inquiring minds want to know.

Members DeepEnd
No depth Ah, I see. Too bad. My Jay Turser beater doesn't have a particularly complex sound either but I don't mind leaving it lying around on the couch. If the Fender is your beater, then I suppose it's all right. Members Grant Harding
It's hard to be too critical of an entry-level fully plywood instrument. There were never going to be a lot of sparkly/complex/punchy mids coming out of that guitar, but it's probably been a bit of fun, no?

Members Grant Harding
I watched a guy play an inexpensive Fender acoustic at an open mic night a while back. He had some sort of inexpensive soundhole pup in it and it sounded OK. But... the guy was awesome! Not really fancy playing, but tight and musical with a great voice. It really helped remind me that the performance is 95% of the deal.
