Members Chordite
I do like this one Looking at the cutaway pic the body seem quite deep, I wonder if it makes it louder than a 335 unplugged? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Encore-L5-...p2056016.l4276 Should have bought a shed load of these when they were rock bottom ten years back

Members gardo
probably howl' date=' at full volume, like a b i t c h ....[/quote'] The beauty is in playing on the edge of a howl. Turning the guitar toward the amp to make it scream then turning away again to hear it sing is great .
Members badpenguin
The reason the prices are going up, is that like all things Japanese, people think they are better guitars then they should be, BECAUSE they are Japanese. It's that "lawsuit " mentality. Now it's the off brands that are starting to command the higher prices. Encore, Lotus, Lyle, are turning into the next Ibanez craze.
