Members Mr.scary96
Today I was at the pawnshop and saw this strange bird that was a ES-335 shape with 2 single coils and a bridge like the old SG 100 ,200, 250's from the early 70's.
Members Bucksstudent
Sounds like a 330 to me.

Members Elias Graves
Bucksstudent Valued Contributor 6:12 PM You won't catch Gibson doing anything like that anymore. Add Comment Kudo 0 Nope. Their busy making really cool guitars like firebird x now.
Members Bucksstudent
What is the hangup with the Firebird X? I agree that it's an ugly, redundant, overpriced guitar, but that shouldn't distract from all the subpar products Gibson puts out in their normal product lines. Mr. Scary, if you can afford it, buy it, because it sounds like an awesome guitar!
Members gtrjones
I owned a 70s ES-320 that looked exactly like the one bieke posted. It was not a very good guitar, and IMO, certainly not worth the vintage prices they're getting - at least not as a musical instrument.
Members Mr.scary96
Thank you it's the ES320. I saw one and I forgot the model name
Members Special J
I like it. I wouldn't pay vintage Gibson price for it, but if I found a good deal on one that was a good player, I'd snatch it up.
Members gardo
It looks like the illegitmate child of a Gibson hollow body and a Teleacaster
Members Roy Brooks
I only found one YouTube of somebody playing an ES-320. He makes it sound like a musical instrument.
Members Roy Brooks
This is the kind of guitar for somebody with an imagination. If more new guitars looked like this I would probably play them. I wish I had an ES-320. All I have is an ES-325 with a cheap plastic top mounted control plate. The ES-320 has a cheap metal plate which is sturdier. I especially dig that snazzy bridge cover. I would pimp that.
Members Mr.scary96
Well I must be imaginative as I just bought it

Members Johnny Cake
It's a ES 320TD ( 1971-74) 2Melody Maker pups, embossed bridge cover with oblong metal control plate with 2 knobs and 2 slide switches. Production 644. A very good buy.
