Members fuzzball
I downloaded an old school Metallica patch (back when they were good) and I use my Les paul and PODXT through my Peavy bandit and it shreds like a champ!

Thanks The drum ending was bad, but that was simply because I had to play in the last note and it didn't sync correctly.Anyway, I used the Not so Maxed Plexi patch on the rhythm, and the Maxed Plexi patch on the lead. I used a strat's bridge pickup to do the job. I also played the bass through the pod just as a USB device with no settings on and used the amp modeling in logic (sounds like {censored}, but it's the best I could do).I got both patches from this site (I think the third time I've posted this in this topic)http://www.robtognoni.com/line6.htm

Members DJLantz444
Check your channel volume, the output volume on the back, and your volume pedal.

Members fuzzball
Sounds like the problem is not the POD, you may need to check your computer settings.

Members fuzzball
Good to hear you got it going! I am considering using my pod through my PA and using an electric guitar instead of a acoustic for a coffee shop gig.
Members W.Kyle.C
haha.....that would be interesting.....although i can't see why not...i personally prefer an acustic to a clean electric most of the time though
Members fuzzball
I do to,but this would allow me to play a few fun solos with a little more style. I don't know..acoustic sounds so nice.
Members CT6Mblack
Being on somewhat of a budget, the best I have right now for recording is Cakewalk. I've read that the PODxt Live, when connected via USB, registers as an audio input device on your computer. So with that said, will Cakewalk be able to recognize that? I know sites say you can direct record with PODxt live via USB, but I'm wondering If cakewalk can do that, or if I'd need new recording software. The reason I haven't been able to try this out is because I ordered the POD off of eBay and it hasn't arrived yet.
Members ozzyozb
Ive been playing the guitar for well over 35 years now...off and on....I will have to say the podxtlive is the best investment bar none that I have ever had....I love it....I can get any tone that I can dream of...
