What size enclosure are we talking. Do you just want it to say HCFX? Will it not have a name? I vote for something relating to the shampoo in the {censored} thing.

i say we try and keep it simple and just stick to the HCFX

standard mxr sized hammond case, possible bigger if we need it, but not too big.

ATTENTION SERIOUS POST

Enclosure : White 1290NS or 1590 (if more space is needed) w/ blue silk screen lettering

Effect type : OD/Fuzz designed with input from some of the builders on here

Price point : $~50

Preferences : 1 gain knob/1 volume knob/1 tone knob, matching blue davies #1510 knobs, DC Jack, LED

Requirements : after the design is finalized people should pay whoever builds these in advance so we dont have the problem of people saying they want one only to flake. Limited number of maybe 50?

Also at a quantity of 50 we could take advantage of bulk buying thus lower cost of parts.

Enclosure : http://www.Pedalpartsplus.com would be able to provide us with the enclosures/silkscreening/drilling making it even easier for the assembler

Parts : http://www.smallbearelec.com offers anything we'd need and offer volume pricing

Circuit boards : they should probably be professionally made and can be had for a decent price at http://futurlec.com/PCBService.html

I've got too many dirt pedals, so I'll throw this out there:

Envelope-controlled tremolo that only does a slow rise, fast decay waveform (like the SFX-07). Sort of an emulation of a backwards tape effect, but can be played in real time, and (due to the envelope control) the effect's speed increases based on your pick attack (like the "peak" setting of the Line6 trem). I don't think there's another tremolo with that combo of features out there, and I think it would sound cool. Of course, I have no idea how difficult that sort of circuit would be to design :idk:
