Members Fender&EHX4ever
I finally did it. I broke down and bought one today. I just couldn't resist it any longer. Did I do the right thing? I already have a Space Echo RE-101, and I'll probably hang onto that because I love the way it sounds. But I wanted to try a tube echo, and this appears to be the king of all tube tape echo units. Any other users out there to make me feel better about this pricey purchase? (actually, I got it for used for relatively cheap)

Members tronus
No worries man. You can always turn around and sell it off if needed. I just bought an Echoplex EP3 off E-bay yesterday. Good times!!
Members dap99
On TGP two people were saying after the hype, they preferred their Skreddys. Congrats! The TTE seems pretty awesome. I think I remember reading that thing about the Skreddy, though. I'd be curious to hear an A/B. But you can't go wrong w/ that Fulltone unit! Members Fender&EHX4ever
I'd bet that the Skreddy is absolutely amazing. But I want a tape echo with a tube preamp, not a digital delay with analog flltering and limiting.

Members MojoFilter
Congratulations. You've got the only piece of gear that I genuinely want that I don't already own. The TTE is the only piece of gear that had me considering selling stuff that I currently use. Hopefully, when my income increases, I'll be able to pick one up. If I had to choose one delay to use, and only one, the TTE would be it. Enjoy yours!

Members zygoat
The cool thing about tape echoes is that the warble is unpredictable. What pedal features that?
Members Marshredder
I'd rather have $1200 Having said that, I'll probably get one one day.

Members Fender&EHX4ever
oh man can't wait. I'm still trying to learn how use it. I've written down three settings of my own so far. It's easily as wacked out as the Flanger Hoax.

I've had my eye on one of those too; but that was before I found the TTE. It would be fun to compare the two for sound. The MOJO factor of an EP-2 is undeniable.
