Married dudes - bachelor party ideas/advice?

I am getting married in October, and my friends have already started asking what I want to do for my bachelor party. I am honestly not sure - I have some ideas but they are all over the place.

I want to do a weekend thing somewhere I think, but that can get expensive and I don't want to be 'excluding' some of my good friends (who are stuck in that post college broke phase) because it is too expensive.

I would really love to go somewhere and gamble (probably New Orleans or Biloxi as they seem the cheapest, although AC or Las Vegas would be really rad) and party. That is the 'expensive' idea.

The cheap side of the weekend idea is to go to Myrtle Beach get a nice condo and just party our asses off white trash style (and maybe even brave sea sickness and hit the gambling boat).

I also really wouldn't mind sticking around Wilmington so I could party with all my buds.

So, married guys, this is getting overwhelming for me. What did youze guys do for your bachelor parties? What would you do differently?

Thanks

I chose to do a semi-local 'dude weekend' thing by renting a beachside condo. We BBQ'd, drank massively, played cards, went hiking, a few of us jammed, etc.

I didn't want to leave anybody out (its happened to me when friends have wanted to do the big Vegas blowout thing, which I hate), and this was the best option by far. I think it wound up costing everyone less than $150 each for housing/food/partyables when it was all over with. I had to sleep on the couch for two days straight while I detox'd.

^^^ Similar to what I did - a "dude weekend" that mostly consisted of copious amounts of alcohol etc, and a bit of gambling in a {censored}ty NV casino. No hos to be had. One of my best friends got married last summer - bach party included strippers and the whole 9. It was insane over the top raunchiness with numerous dildo penetrations in various orifices.

I preferred the 'no hos dude weekend'.

Thanks for the input so far dudes. It's sorta reassuring to hear so many votes for a pretty chill bro weekend - which is honestly more my style.

The more I have been pricing stuff and thinking about my friends this morning the more Myrtle Beach sounds like a better option. It's close to Wilmington, cheap, has alot of bars, and there is a House of Blues there so there may be a good show to catch while we are in town.

I honestly don't really want to go to a strip club - not that I don't enjoy them, but I don't want to be the bachelor at one (put on stage and embarrassed and whatnot).

The last bachelor party I went to was done in Wilmington and several of us got together and tried to do all of the bachelors hobbies (shooting, fishing, etc) - then got {censored}ty drunk. One of the guys got the idea to go to the strip club and the night went kinda down hill at that point (because like half the people didn't want to go for various reasons - including the bachelor).

Keep the ideas and suggestions coming

My bachelor party was fived days in Amsterdam with three of my good friends.

I was the last one of us to get married, and ever since we were in college together we talked about going to Amsterdam. We figured my marrage was the last good chance we had. You want "chill"? Amsterdam's got it in droves.

Effing epic.

a great idea for a Bachelor party is to go out meet a different girl call of the wedding, stay with that girl till the next bachelor party and then repeat and thank me later.

I like where your head is at :cop:

Check it - badass 5 bedroom oceanfront suite in North Myrtle (right across from the place where the House of Blues is.

$300 a night  because it's the off season.

I think we have a winner if at least 5 of my friends come.

Play some poker, maybe some golf, catch a concert if there is anything good and get {censored}ed up the whole time - plus since it's the beginning of October, it will still be warm enough to chill on the beach.

For mine (got married Feb 27th and LOVING it!!)... we just went to the House of Blues, saw some schmuck (he was pretty good, can't remember his name) play the geetar and sing (blues), got hit on by a bunch of 40-year-old drunk women (we laughed a lot)... then when we got bored there, we went to Dave and Buster's and had a great time 'til about 2-3 a.m., went outside, pee'd in public, and went home and went to bed. :thu:

It was just an awesome time... regardless of what you do, t-rey, 1.) don't cheat on your fiancee, and 2.) do it w/ your best friends. As long as you're with them, I promise you'll have a fantastic time. :thu:

dont do ac over a weekend. drinks in the clubs are expensive as {censored} and most of the people are tools. i would personally opt for myrtle beach, with a bunch of hookers and blow.

blow is too expensive. Shrooms or E. Best bang for buck.
