I'm a pretty big history buff, especially for Lincoln/Civil War stuff, and I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate Spielberg was. Definitely a "wordy" movie, but that's the point, and that's a huge part of who Lincoln was - he often spoke in parables, and Lewis knocked that out of the park. I had heard that they originally had Liam Neeson set to play Lincoln, and while I'm sure he would've done a great job, Lewis was the PERFECT choice. Sally Field was also fantastic as Mary, as was JGL and everyone else. But I was also thrilled with James Spader; kinda like TLJ, he had his fair share of moments. Saw Lincoln on Saturday and I agree with all of this. Daniel Day Lewis was believable as Lincoln, which is something I didn't think would happen. Tommy Lee Jones gave a great performance, but you are always aware that you are watching Tommy Lee Jones playing a part. I really enjoyed it and would say it's a solid 9/10. Makes me want to learn more about that period of time. I'm definitely going to visit Fort Fisher since it's here in town and I've never been. My only gripe with the film, and I'll probably catch some {censored} for this, is Spielberg's style. The movie felt older than it should have because of his directing. It's still a fantastic and well directed film....just feels a bit dated. Not a huge deal, but something that I noticed. Yeah - if they are the same width, I'll estimate the height, chop that {censored} and try my hand at tolexing it. I'm assuming I would need to make a front baffle as well. Edit - Wait...does the combo have outs for an external cab? Would it be more involved than disconnecting the combo speaker and making it into a head, or would there be wiring involved???
  7. Anybody know the dimensions of the Pathfinder heads? I want one, but not badly enough to pay the going rate - so I was thinking it could quite a bit cheaper to buy a combo and build a head shell (or have one built).
  8. Gone. Don't know how to delete threads though
  9. In other news, don't {censored} with Paul Silas: http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2012/4/19/2959794/lakers-clippers-nba-playoff-standings-paul-silas-carmelo-anthony Badass.
  10. I gotcha - if I decide to do it in the future I may send it your way. Or if I get it done locally, I will post up what the price was in case other people are curious.
  11. So for someone like myself who is not exactly proficient with a soldering iron and generally terrible at electrical work - how much would it cost a tech to install the clean/crunch switch, the SLO mods (if they can be done for the 22h), and maybe the depth knob? I really dig the tone of the amp as it is, but would love to try out some of these mods.
  12. nope i'm crazy face middle guy. Touche. Well the guy on the left = Rowan Atkinson
  13. Assuming that's you on the left:
