I was gonna go with the Clapton clownburst LP until I saw this: Adrian Belew is a great player but that guitar is just too fugly and it costs 9 grand. And Joe strummer deserves better than that faux relic job on his emberassingly akward tele sig model. The Kurt Cobain sig model was a joke too. Kurt wasn't finished with it when Fender decided to build that monstrosity anyway. And those factory-modded sonic youth jazzmasters are the exact opposite of the whole SY-attitude. I remember seeing a picture where it looks like the horrible thing he uses in the Rolling Stones movie. In other pictures it looks better. I just really hate clownbust LPs.
