Members SpectralJulian
This That's not a metal guitar. That's a beautiful Black Beauty with ugly gold hardware. I love my Black Beauty Copy with Chrome hardware
Members Urinate Forever
I'd probably say a Les Paul tuned to DGCFAD
Members Dissentience
I play metal on a Les Paul with Burstbuckers. It's perfect.

That rules. Kind of has a BC Rich/Fender thing going on. I dig it.

Members SpectralJulian
I have a thing for natural finish skunk stripe neck-thrus. Generally I like more 70s rock looking ones, but something about that thing does it for me. Plus the Floyd Rose actually looks good on it, and you can't say that too often about Floyd Rose guitars. I'd probably play stuff that's a bit more Polvo-like on it than metal. Maybe Polvo type crazy bendy chords & weird tunings plus some heavy sludgy riffs. Members SpectralJulian
It is now that it's tuned to D with a set of BKP Nailbombs. I thought we were talking about metal guitars in appearance, not functionality.

Members imtheking
Richie Sambora's Jersey Star? yessiree. I'm not much of a Sambora fan (anymore at least), but If I were a metal head I would definitely use that. For 80s metal at least, if we're talking about like death metal or nu-metal, I would have to say the Ibanez MTM2 (Mick Thomson model)
