I'm a fan of the TRS stereo plug. if it catches on it'll be quite handy for stereo rigs. I know Dr.S has these on the new tremolessence pedal. Lol.I think most people would rather have expression/tap/favorite capabilities than stereo inputs; which I'd wager the majority wouldn't use. (Now I see what you were saying. I don't remember getting anything useful from the plethora of threads I started but now that it's here I'd prefer a PS-3 mode-7/bit fuzz twin pedal! what has become of me!
