Members spoonie g
I know their sound comes from creative miking/ampeg bass amps/etc etc, but I'd like to get an approximation of that loose/amp about to explode sound out of a fuzz. I know they used a foxx tone machine, but without the exact combination of gear they used, I doubt that would get me what I wanted. I was thinking the earthquake devices dirt transmitter? Anything else?

Members t-rey
Give the Dirt Transmitter a shot - with the tone and bias knobs you should be able to get a thick but explodey sound. A DT will definitely be my next purchase, mostly for that reason.

Members Harry_Manback1
Pharaoh gets close enough for me, moderate fuzz in germ mode with tone knobs pretty well maxed to crank the mids. Q-zone for the quackies.
