Magnatone !!?? really,

always wanted one of those

these have a great vibrato

I did play one of the Cordovox amps, it was not too bad, good clean sound

but walked out with a Farfisa amplifier instead (which had tube tremolo and tube reverb)

:p

I picked up one of the cabinets with power amp at a flea market for $50. Took the amp out and gave it to a friend, kept the rest of the cabinet which is loaded with 2 Jensen C12-R speakers.

{censored}ing score - my favorite speakers ever. I'd love 2x12 with a pair of those things!

If I did a loop around the 4 Milwaukee music store I tend to go to, I would see 5 magnatone amps, and that is a low estimate...

I have heard that Magnatones are prone to breaking. Bigfoot FX makes a Magnatone vibrato pedal that seems interesing.

Whoever buys that could probably get their money's worth just by selling 66 old 12AX7s

No.

The vast majority of those tubes are NOT 12AX7's.

There are about 3 12ax7s in the tone-generator cab.

Maybe a couple in the amp cab.

The rest in the tone-cab are 6x8
