If you look at the Boss, you can see that it's set for a volume boost only (so it's actually only functioning as a boost, rather than an EQ), and then the other EQ is the actual "EQ". Looks like he has it set for a scooped sound.

You're right. Did not notice that.

Nice board! smile.gif I think the OCD is one of my nest purchases. It was down to that or a modded Keeley BD-2.

The OCD is so UNlike any OD or Dist I have used in the past it's uncanny, bang chords at a low gain setting and the first thought that comes to mind is Angus...and I'm not talking about the beef!

finished building the board the other day. Now all I need are more pedals. I'm looking to get a zvex ringtone and a line 6 DL-4. Perhaps a Zvex fuzz probe eventually.

are u running some velcro under the pedals?

can spray that {censored} browave.gif

My General Guitar Gadgets Ring Dinger should be returning from the shop soon ... and I hope to have some sort of analog modulation device resting near my dirtboxes again in the near future. smile.gif

You mount your pedals on the wall in a dark room?

So what did you end up doing to the DOD 250?

first i true bypassed it, then i added the LED.

for the circuit itself i changed out one cap, so that the bass is still present when the gain is turned up. the mini switch goes from stock diodes, no diodes, LEDs. the LED sound pretty much the same as not having any diodes at all. without the stock diodes there is tons of boost. the stock diodes lower the output but add grit.

i am running it on with the LED's and the gain near max. it puts out very little distortion this way, just a tad bit of grit. it really boost like no other pedal i have tried, and i have alot of dirt pedals.

I was actually attempting to emulate the perspective of the Behringer display form last year's NAMM. wink.gif
