Members maiden_fan Posted November 24, 2007 Members Share Posted November 24, 2007 Selling my beloved Marshall Superbass year '80, in great condition internally, couple of nicks and tears on the external which makes it look even more badass.Im only selling as uni has me by the balls.Has a PPIMV fitted which is a very reversible mod, but i dont see why you would as it makes it sound so awesome at normal levels. And if you turn it all the way up it takes it out of the circuit. This one is the 62 RI style - threaded saddles, reverse tuners, strap button on the headstock. All parts are original - the pickguard is showing its age and has warped slightly. It's also got a small crack in it at the top, but not really noticeable - I don't know if it's snapped, but it's on the bass ok. Neck date is 22 April 1983. It is a bolt on neck but it is still a great guitar. Its around 20 - 25 years old but still in great shape. Selling to get a second amp now my laney has put out and have to wait for repair .
