Members Angry Grimace
I like to screw around with Wah pedals a little (Slash fanboism). I'd like one that sounds a little like Slash's tone on the leads in "Civil War." I had a Morley Power Wah (I liked Switchless {censored} at the time) and a regular ass stock crybaby. I hated both. Let's hear yer wah recommendations. And yes, I'm entirely open to discussing whether I simply don't have the foot-guitar coordination to use a wah correctly. Members BigFatPaulWall
I had a Dimebag wah. They're good, but mine started to fall apart after a couple years. Now I have a Morley Bad Horsie.

Members RustInPeace1256
If you want Slash's tone your best bet would probably be his signature wah.

Members ShizzelDizzel
RMC wahs (Teese) are supposedly good. Lots of choices as well. I'm going to check out the Wheels of Fire wah.
Members gdwill2u
I have a Fulltone classic Clyde wah, not the delux model. I love it, it is more subtle than some wahs but very quiet and does not color my tone when it is in the loop like other wahs I've used.

I usually hate anything signature, but if you're a fan, and if you're looking for something specific .... this is probably good advice.

I'm going to check out the Wheels of Fire wah.I have the Wheels of Fire wah and it's awesome, though definitely not what he's looking for. The WoF is a lot like a colorsound wah, very very vocal and raunchy sounding. But the Teese stuff itself is awesome, well built and gets the job done. I am selling a vox 848 if you're interested
Members mccarty
vox sound good smokes my crybaby, but then again so does every other wah
Members Carcinogen
Why is there never any love for the Weeping Demon?
Members thermionic geek
I have a weeping demon, a VOX 847, and a crybaby wah. I like them all. I would love the weeping demon if it had a little more high end. As it is I can't get enough treble on the sweep to satisfy me. The Crybaby and vox are easy to mod though. I added true bypass to the VOX. I like the buffer in the crybaby better. I changed the resistor that controls the Q of the sweep to 50k in both the vox and the crybaby. I also changed the input resistor on the Vox so the volume is a bit boosted when it's on. It adds a very grainy quality to the sound which I like too. I have had the crybaby for 15 years. It's beat as hell. I should find a new one but everything I try is not the same. I want to try the parachute wha but it's too damn expensive. Members foggy
I just got an Ernie Ball Wah. It works especially great with distortion. Good on the cleans as well if you want to make some porno music! As far as Wah's go, it's not overly in your face. It's very smooth, and built nice and tough like their volume pedals. It also has some nice green leds which lets you know if it's on or not.

Members 4nkam
If you want the Civil War wah tone, you gotta look at synth/filter based wah pedals. Unfortunately, there really aren't many out there. Slash used an EMB wah for that track and it's a unit that isn't based on traditional wah designs so that's why it sounds the way it does. I have a Parachute wah coming soon and that just might be the ticket to that tone.
