As a Texan myself I would rather Texas just ban the rest of the US and not have our money be stolen for the poor states. Really :facepalm: Texas is actually one of the few Red States that contribute more dollars to the federal government than it receives back. I think they get back around $0.88 per dollar paid in. California gets about $0.91. Of course, Minnesota is one of the states that really gets screwed - we get back less than $0.50 per dollar paid in.Even so, I'd rather live here than either California or Texas.
