Members ~Abstract~
I see what you're saying, but the term "3D" is still a stupid way to describe tone. Regardless of what you think may be "stupid"....it's how it's described.
Members Mesa/Kramer
Maybe it is this? Amp I guess runs stereo into the outer cabs and Mono into the center 4V5NKtts0vk

Members Rampage
I am pretty darn sure that the Axe Fx II supports 4D tone. You might want to look into that.
Members lumpy555
the older peavey stereo choruses combos, and the older crate solid state heads, i lLOVE the crate SHOCKWAVE SS HEADS AS WELL. FWIW, the roland jc-120s, for the clean,3-d sounds....

Members guitarbilly74
I'd think a NMV Divided by 13 or 65 Amps head would give you a very 3d tone but depending of the music style you're playing you'd have to use a boost with it.

Then you have never experienced the sonic bliss of a great NMV amp and an equally great dirt pedal...and for that, I pity you.

I have read that all pedals suck and it is better to get all of your gain from the amp.

I have read that all bugera amps catch on fire, fenders are only good for cleans, marshalls are the only amps with mids (as long as they are jcm800 and prior) and telecasters are only for country. You believe everything you read?

Members ~Abstract~
It means that the tone almost sounds layered, and is extremely harmonically complex and lively. It fills the room and sounds like it's coming from everywhere rather than one directional source.

Members DannyDedalo
Joking apart, IMO the open cab thing is a big factor in the feeling of "fill the room" in amps...
