alot of us follow the used gear market very closely.

generally those late 70's/80's marshall SS amps are all basicly in the same catagory of 'not so desirable', and are priced accordingly. you'd be lucky to get $200.

sorry if thats not what you're looking to hear, if its not worth it to sell to you, just keep it around as a back up.

Yeah, it isn't like they're the worst amps ever but based on the other amps they've made, their SS stuff is pretty unremarkable. I saw an Ozzy tribute where the guy used one and it sounded pretty good. Good or not, it doesn't really help the value.

your wife wouldn't happen to be Nicole Rose, would she?

same amp with a problem

And you should have gotten an idea of the value from the ad you copied the picture from:

for sale

but I doubt that they were able to sell if for that.

You really shouldn't dismiss the amp forum's general advise on the value of this amp - just because they didn't recognize the model number.

Most every one here know's the general value of old solid state amps.

Now of course - you may be able to take advantage of some poor noob somewhere who is only familiar with the 5150's/EVH line, and convince them this is some uber-rare MARSHALL version - and therefore highly valuable, but I doubt it.

I like these amps quite a bit. It's pretty much the combo version of the 3315, these SS Marshalls are definitely sleeper amps, I used to have a LEAD 100 Mosfet and I loved it. But yeah, they're not very popular so $250 is the going price for it. I wouldn't sell it though, the amp is way too cool for what it's worth in the market.

This is good advice. I wouldn't sell it if it's actually a good amp like Billy said. Some amps like old no matter how good they sound just aren't worth much. Check out that dudes Silvertone garage sale thread.
