Members chriscarnucci
Stealing a thread from another forum here....but I just wanted to see what everyone thought of these? I haven't made up my mind yet. I don't think I would use these on a nice guitar but maybe some beaters..... I don't know I'm kinda a purist! I usually dont like to mess with the apearance much of a guitar. But who knows ...could be fun? http://www.inlaysticker.com/
Members wmwise
I ahve been looking over some of there items. Thinking about trying some. Might be kinda cool to change the look from time to time. Bill

Members Stackabones
Those are really a great idea, Chris. I've got a couple of guitars that don't have any inlay on the fretboards. While I love the look, it's very hard for my students to figure out where I am on the neck.
Members Terry Allan Hall
Some of those look pretty cool, but I'm wondering how they'll hold up over the long haul?
Members Stackabones
Some of those look pretty cool, but I'm wondering how they'll hold up over the long haul? Good question. In a way, I'd almost hope that wouldn't hold up over the long. It'd be kinda cool to have a sticker inlay facelift ever so often.
Members seagullplayer77
Some of those look pretty cool, but I'm wondering how they'll hold up over the long haul? I was thinking the same thing myself. The website says that they're "super thin," but from the some of the pictures they had, it looked like they were sticking up off the fretboard quite a bit---relatively speaking, anyway. I'd imagine that the adhesive probably wouldn't respond favorably if you used something like Ax Wax on your guitar regularly, but I don't know that for sure. Cool concept, and if I ever run across a beater that needs some help visually, I might give 'em a thought. Certainly can't argue with the price ! Members PaintByNumbers
It's a great idea even though I like inlay-free guitars. Also, they seem inexpensive enough that if they only last a few months, it would not be the end of the world
Members Terry Allan Hall
Thinking about ordering a "blue abalone vine of life" set for my hollowbody electric...as rarely as I use that one, surely the stickers would last quite a while... Tempted to bling up my #1, the Guild JF-4, too...

Members DeepEnd
Some of those look pretty cool, but I'm wondering how they'll hold up over the long haul? I've seen cheap guitars that had stick on position markers from the factory. In fact, my first guitar did. It's nearly 40 years old and they're still attached. Also reminds me of what I did with my banjo: Since you can play major chords with one finger, I stuck small pieces of masking tape on the side of the neck with chord names written on them. Members Ripfence
the f hole stickers made me lol my pants Yeah, Gretsch has some painted on f-holes on some of thier guitars too. They are pretty pricey guitars too.
Members Samilyn
Some of them are kinda pretty. If I had a beater, I think it would be fun to change the bling from time to time. Wouldn't put 'em on my Martin or Guild, though.
Members C70man
I could see simple fret markers, especially if they have them for the neck, not the fret board.
Members DarkHorseJ27
They should offer ones that you can put on the pickguard so it looks like a Gibson Dove or Hummingbird pickguard.
Members guitarist21
What do you think will look good on this? Natural finish guitar by the way My only worry would be that one of these stickers would look weird on top of a high-gloss finish like that. Like it would be the only thing not high-gloss. Especially because there's already a real inlay on there that's got the gloss over it. Do you guys think that would be the case?
