Members Hoddy Posted March 10, 2007 Members Share Posted March 10, 2007 I have a Valve Jr. head that should be arriving tomorrow (my Marshall Bluesbreaker is in the shop and I can't stand to be ampless) and was wondering if any of you have used this head with a 2-12 cabinet. I have an old Fender cabinet...don't know what model but it's blonde with the wheat grill cloth...the speakers are shot. I had two like new Celestion Greenbacks so today I dropped them in that cabinet. How do you think it will sound with the Valve Jr. head? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I played mine through some old early 80's Peavey 12's in my 2x12 combo and it sounded descent. Nothing special, but same could be said for my playing.
