Members Killing Nevada
Well, I thought I had this sold, but the buyer backed out. Sucks but what are you gonna do. So here is my 07 ESP Eclipse II I upgraded the pickups to Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pros, both without logos. I also have moved the toggle to where the original tone was, moved the tone to the middle spot and a master volume. I also have coil taps on each pot so you can split the pickups one at a time. Lastly I added a pushbutton killswitch. Does include hardcase, and all case candy. I bought this in Feb, and just had the upgrades done last month. Also a set of black dunlop straplocks are included. I also have the original black bell knobs. 1250 Shipped. Guitar does have two tiny blems that were done by the shop I had the parts installed by. The finish has a few tiny tiny hairline cracks near the toggle. You cant see them, and probably wouldn't have if I hadn't said anything. Also there is a small knick in the binding about where you would rest your arm when playing. Again, super small, but I don't like to hide things. Trades IDK what I'm looking for. And I'd prefer to sell. I'd be willing to do a cash/trade deal as well. Pics.
Members Barryj61
Yeah, I know it's the EG forum; but everyone can use a nice bass, and this is a good one that's getting pretty difficult to find. This is one of the original SGC Nanyo Bass Collection active 4 string basses made in Japan during the early 90's - not to be confused with the later Korean production, or the even later 'revived' Bass Collection brand name (now made in China and distributed by Rondo Music and others). This is a good choice for someone who needs to cover a lot of ground - it's equipped with both P and J pickups and a 9V powered preamp. The controls are master volume, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, and pickup pan; the latter 3 controls all have a center detent to make it easy to find the 'neutral' spot. Standard 34" scale, jumbo frets with little wear, and a pretty beefy neck profile - it's not quite vintage P-bass size, but darn close. The wood grain and general heft leads me to believe that the body is ash; also has a thick slab rosewood fretboard. Very cool recessed jack that points up - makes it easy to route your cable through your strap. Gotoh tuners do an excellent job of keeping it in tune. It's in very clean condition, but not perfect - has a small dent on the upper bout, and a scrape near the treble control knob. A few very fine clear coat scratches on the back. Comes with a nice Fernandes gig bag. I've got pretty much every square inch photographed at the link below, but I can always take more pictures if needed. I'll regret this later, but hey, things happen. $275 shipped/insured/Paypalled. Picture link: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v296/barryj61/Bass%20Collection/ LATE EDIT - just to make things a little more interesting, I'm putting my Hartke A70 amp for sale too (excellent condition). This is a great practice/recording/small gig amp with a lot of features - both passive and active inputs, limiter, 7-band graphic EQ as well as normal bass and treble controls. 70 watts of power, and surprisingly loud for its size; also has an XLR direct out and an effects loop, which is almost unheard of in an amp this size. I'll sell this one for $225 shipped by itself - but I'll also do it as a package deal with the bass for $450 shipped in the lower 48 (and it's small but solid - about 45 pounds so shipping would normally cost you a bit) Picture link: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v296/barryj61/Bass%20Collection/
Members adamrobertt
FOR SALE OR TRADE2007 EPIPHONE CASINOASKING $550 SHIPPED OR TRADE FOR A TELE.Played lightly. Beautiful vintage sunburst finish. Fit, finish, and action are all superb. Sounds amazing. I actually really love this guitar, but I just have to have a telecaster, so this is up for trade. For a telecaster.I'm going to be very picky about the tele I trade for, though. I'd really prefer a burst finish of some kind, but that's not totally set in stone. Must have a maple fretboard, though. Not budging on that. PM me! Just for reference, I purchased this guitar for $600 USD. Comes with hardshell case. I'd expect something similar in return. Thanks! Members NoirAbattoir
The "I'm moving to New Orleans to teach" blowout continues. I've signed my contract, but I have to get my old Civic road worthy before I will let my wife drive it across country. I wanna thank all the cool people who have helped me raise cash already. It's pretty much funded like 3k in travel expenses to help me get this job. I still need more dough, though, so this stuff has to go. Be sure to check the pictures below.- DIY Triple loop box true bypass box, only takes a boss barrel power supply (see the rear of the unit in the pic). SOLD!- Dunlop High Gain Volume pedal. It's passive, too. Great condition, but the rubber feet are long gone. Will come with bike chain links to mount. SOLD!- MIJ Fernandes lawsuit J-Bass, professionally modified with a ground line to eliminate ground hum, used, so it has its dings. Hardshell case included, plays and sounds spectacular, plenty of fret-life left. Priced to move at $235 shipped!- lot of guitar straps, 4 leather Levy style straps and one nylon strap.SOLD. - 20 George L cable ends already cut and made into cables of various sizes. These sell for $65 dollars for a kit of ten, I will let each set of ten go for $SOLD. - Boss SD-1 Sound Destroyer-1 that has been rehoused in a black hammond box and circuitbent to all hell. It has a SPST momentary stomp switch to power it on and off (just so you know, the stomp switching mechanism works, but since it's a SPST you may have to click it twice to get it on or off. I have used this pedal for home recording and in a TB looper box on my pedalboard). This thing is the ultimate noisemaker with 5 toggles for bends and one additional potentiometer to control one of the bends, this can only be powered through its boss power jack. When all the toggles are off, it acts just as an SD-1 should. $SOLD! Members ChitownTerror
'm looking to trade/sell my mid-70's MIJ Ibanez OD-850, Ibanez CD-10 Analog Delay and a matched pair of GFS Vintage-Split Humbuckers. The Ibanez OD-850 is a rare EARLY Big Muff clone with a few minor alterations to the circuit that let it clean up a little more easily with the guitar volume. Sounds massive and has tones of volume on tap. I'd prefer to trade, but I'd also sell it for $190 CONUS.The Ibanez CD-10 is an analog delay, reportedly a copy of the Boss DM-3. It self-oscillates nicely, and has that warm organic sound that people love. It has some velcro on the back, and was recently recalibrated by Josh Holley of Malekko Heavy Industries. $110 shipped. The GFS Vintage Split humbuckers are totally untouched. I bought them to put in a guitar that I ended up fliping before I could mod it, so there's no worries about the leads being short or the pickup being screwed up from my own incompetence. $42 takes the set, shipped CONUS.I'm looking to trade for : Tonebender or Colorsound Overdriver clones (Phoenix Lady Stardust, Throbak Overdriver or StoneBender and Prescription Yardbox or Overdriver especially) or vintage reverb units (Premier, Danelectro 9100, Gibson RV-3).I'm not around as much as I used to be, so drop me an email at :ndhudac AT uchicago DOT edu if you're interested. Members Jon Hiller
Hi, I just got in a Takamine EG523SC 12-string guitar, it's basically brand new, it still has the protective plastic on the pickguard, and it's in like new shape, but I don't have the warranty cards for it. This is a beautiful jumbo cutaway body with solid spruce top and quilted maple back and sides. It has the Takamine TK40 preamp with built-in tuner. Musician's friend sells these for $699.00 (when they have them in stock), and according to the newest Takamine pricelist, it retails at $1,010.00. I have ordered a Samick Greg Bennett Signature Series hardshell case ordered for it that will be in in a couple days that should fit it, or I have a Coffin Body Bag gig bag that fits it fine, and is a very heavy-duty bag, but I'd rather sell it with the case unless you just want the bag, it makes me nervous to think about shipping a guitar like this in a gig bag. I'm looking to get $550 shipped and paypal'd with the bag or $599 shipped and paypal'd with the case. If for some reason this case won't fit it I will order in a TKL that will, but it's a lot more expensive case, and I actually like the Bennett signature cases better, as the last few of them that I've had in have actually had better padding in them than the TKL ones. Here are some photos of the guitar. The top is actually not as much darker than the back and sides as the photos would make you believe, I think it's just the way the light was hitting the guitar in the photos. PM me if you're interested. Thanks!

Members AndyZ
Man, I've put this off for ages, but necessity has caused me to sell off this fine example of a natural ash Strat. Now this model is no longer made, making it harder to find. Only reason I'm selling it is to fund some top of the line studio monitors. I present to you a 1997 Fender American Stratocaster Ash Natural in mint condition. Members nyck
Up for sale is a modified SX SST57 strat. It is only a month or so old, and hasn't seen too much use. I modified it with parts from Guitar Fetish. I replaced the plastic nut with a graphite one, the stock pickups with a GFS overwound strat set, and I replaced the bridge with a black Wilkinson tremolo. I took the pictures while it had Wilkinson tuners on it, but I'll be using them for another project, and I'll be putting the stock chrome tuners on before I ship it(which are not bad for stock-the design is almost exactly the same as the Wilkinson's). The guitar is surprisingly good stock(for a $100 guitar), but with my mods, it is just as good as any Mexican made Fender I've played. Right now the trem is setup with 5 springs, tightened so the trem won't move(I don't use it). Also, I sanded the headstock a bit so it didn't look so 'hookish'. I refinished it with a wipe on Satin Poly finish. My asking price is $160 shipped. I'll include a gigbag and all the stock parts too. It's a helluva guitar for that price IMO. Here's the stock one: http://www.rondomusic.net/sst57pblue.html http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2349.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2351.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2352.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2354.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2355.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2360.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2362.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2364.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2365.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2366.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2369.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2378.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2380.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b373/icetitan/100_2372.jpg
