For those guitars you get your own personal Cadillac Goat complete with Chauffeur. These two guitars are actually about 6 and 8 years old or so. Here is a link.... http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/yamaha/compass_series Unlike the ones in the link, these two are actually handcrafted Official Yamaha Custom Shop Masterbuilt guitars signed by the maker. The blue one is probably the single greatest "thing" I have ever owned. These guitars are the best kept secrets in the acoustic guitar world in my opinion, and there are less expensive models around 6 or 7 hundred dollars, that are still outstanding bangs for the buck. These were around 1200.00 new with a case in 99-2002, and I almost NEVER see used ones for sale. I dont know why. I guess people hang on to them. They sound perfect plugged in and unplugged and are just works of art in person. The blue one is mine, and the 'Egyptian" one is my guitarisy/writing partner's although I play that one alot too. We probably have about 50 guitars between the two of us, both acoustic and electric, and these are my absolute favorite of any.
