  1. Hoo boy, it’s been a minute since I submitted a VOM. Probably about ten years. I’d like to do it again though. I’ll try to knock something together. I wonder if anyone here still remembers me? It’s quite nice that this thing is still around, regardless. Really makes me smile. 😊
  2. Ha! I think I owned that exact guitar, like, seven years ago. I loved those pickups.
  3. I'm interested in trade offers for my Warmoth strat. I'm not looking for anything in particular. Just seeing if anything catches my eye. Maple/rosewood neck. 10-16 radius. Stainless steel vintage size frets. Fender vintage-style tuners. Alder hard tail strat body, universal rout (swimming pool). All hand-finished in Tru-oil and beeswax. Straplocks, Tele-style switch, 1 Vol, 1 Tone, and a Kill button. Dimarzio Super Distortion, and a Dimarzio Super 2. It's 100% assembled and finished, but I only have the pictures of the unfinished body and neck at the moment. Let me know if you wanna trade.
  4. The last Yamaha I got from dangolguitartec is still my favorite guitar. One of the very few I kept when I moved.
  5. Let me tell you this is your lucky day http://www.jimdunlop.com/index.php?page=products/pip&id=142&pmh=products/accessories now this is a WONDERFUL product, i have them on all my guitars. Cheap, easy to put on, and it wont break. Trust me get about 30 and you will have no more problems. This works on your acoustics? I have a bunch for electrics, but they don't work on any of my acoustics. It just doesn't seem to work with end pins.
  6. I definitely wouldn't laugh at a cheap guitar. Especially if it actually plays well. My first guitar was a "Crescent" acoustic. Horrible. High action (even when the saddle was sanded down to a nub). No truss rod. Balsawood top, back, and sides (or something very similar). But I learned on it, and it wasn't bad enough to make me quit, so I guess it served its purpose.
