There has been threads a while back that tried to answer the question "who is the best?". To me, you just can't compare two guitarists who have deepened their grasp of different genres or idioms and say one is better than the other. So I find that the idea of nominating our favorite players here in HCEG in different categories makes sense. It still doesn't really say who are the best because who's to say that, eh? (besides we haven't heard clips of everybody). I go first: Creativity, technical prowess: MHUK Jazz: MikeSF Competence, understanding of styles: Red Ant Ability to play while completely drunk: JJ Ears for good tone and ability to dial them: DocJeffrey Your turn.
